How to Find the Perfect Roof Gutter Company

Trying to find the perfect roof gutter company can be difficult. After all, the roof and gutter business has become so popular that it’s difficult to distinguish between good companies and great companies. So, continue reading to learn how you can find the perfect roof gutter company, like Evergreen Construction Solutions, to attend to your roof and gutters!

Meet With Them in Person

It’s easy for a roof gutter company to seem like the perfect fit online or over the phone. It’s important to meet with a potential company in person before making any commitments. After all, how many people look or act differently in person than they do on dating apps? Approach finding the perfect roof gutter company the same way you would approach a dating app.

Research Online

Even if an in-person meeting goes phenomenal, you should still research a company online. Look on websites like Angie’s List, Better Business Bureau, Yelp, and HomeAdvisor. These websites will give you a real insight into what kind of work a company produces and if they truly are as great as they seem.

Make Sure They’re Insured

Let’s say you find what you perceive as the perfect company, but there’s one catch: they don’t have insurance. Although they might give you the best deals and produce the best work, you shouldn’t hire them. While not having insurance might seem like a miniscule technical aspect, it’s not. In reality, if a company doesn’t have insurance, any potential problems could ultimately be placed on your shoulders. If something goes wrong during the job, you could be slammed with a large medical or legal fee. Ultimately, a cheap price or quality product isn’t worth taking the gamble.

Understand Warranty Details

For some people, warranties are a deal breaker. It’s important to decide whether or not a warranty is important to you, and what an ideal warranty would entail. Typically, companies offer a warranty of one year. But, more renowned companies usually offer labor warranties between five to ten years. Also, you should understand the difference between a labor warranty and a manufacture or product warranty. A labor warranty is a warranty on the actual work a company does and a manufacture warranty is a warranty on the actual materials. Typically, these two warranties offer different guarantees and options.

Look for Professionalism

Lastly, look for signs of professionalism. Any renowned and qualified company will be professional. If you’re having a hard time deciding whether or not a company was professional, ask yourself these following questions:

  • Did the company communicate with me in a timely and formal manner?
  • Did they provide me with the proper follow-up information I requested?
  • Did they answer my questions adequately?
  • Did they show up for our consultation on time?
  • Were they dressed appropriately?

If you answered yes to most or all of those questions, the company you met with is most likely professional and qualified.
